The Abu Dhabi Sea Corniche is the place where the city comes alive in the early evening. This waterside promenade is the perfect place to see and be seen, and a great place to start your evening out. With a number of restaurants and coffee bars around the area – along with many local people out to chat and catch up with friends after a hard day, the atmosphere on the Corniche is unmistakeably easy going, and relaxed, making it a pleasant venue to enjoy the warm evening, or to walk off a heavy dinner.
The Corniche was renovated recently, and now features some of the most pleasant parkland in Abu Dhabi, along with a large covered area in the style of a traditional Dhow which provides some welcome shade on hot days.
